So close I could taste the bracelet... Just finished my first shot at the $5,000 buy-in Seven Card Stud event. Almost out a couple of times, but then ended up playing my way to the feature and final tables.
Ended up playing heads-up for quite some time with a non-pro, taking the chip lead once or twice, but ultimately conceding victory and the ever-out-of-reach WSOP bracelet.
Second place netted me $104K, which brings my 2005 tournament total to $256K (plus a Hollywood Invitation tournament victory chip).
