Our second-to-last OST of the season is in the books, and what a game it was!McDaddy has returned to his place in the lead under the Drop 2 format, but is tied with Dakota Skye for the overall chip lead. Porqchop shaked and baked his way to the middle of the pack in the overall standings, and has moved into third place for chip allocation at the Final Table.
Falling from grace this week were Wad and Hirp (Ron Mexico has turned his car around and is making a bee-line for the border).
WhoDoggy wins “Hand-of-the-Week” honors with his king-high straight flush (not called, but it was made). Hirp and Flops tie for the “Sucked-Out-of-their-Seat” award – Hirp had an early nut flush rivered by Moe’s full boat – Flops had his pre-flop pocket rockets shot down by Porqchop’s horribly inappropriate trip fives at the Turn (final hand of the evening). “Hand-of-the-Weak” goes to Porqchop for building ace-eight suited and $700 (with $250/$500) blinds into his first tournament victory of the season.
Saddle-up gents. There’s still a lot of poker to be played. We have a number of current Final Table qualifiers who could slip, and a few bubble players that could move up in our final OST of the year.
