The results are in. If the Final Table were to be set today, we'd have a new player sitting at its head. With his victory on Tuesday night (based purely on his dominating poker strategy, absolutely no "suck outs" involved), Dakota Skye has officially taken the chip lead moving into OST 9. McDaddy, Marneus and Skrawg fill out spaces two, three and four respectively. Currently, Dakota holds a 20 point/$687 chip lead over second place utilizing the drop zero point structure noted above.
Pushing the pot this week were Hirp, Porqchop, Marneus (heretofore know as "The Man") and Ron Mexico. Mucking their cards were Wad, Drifter, DoubleDown and any player unable to make the game (ThunderStick seems to have opted out of the league at this point, and should not be considered a factor).
With two events left, a number of players have a chance to either move into a seat at the Final Table, or take a bigger piece of the chip allotment with a strong finish.
Show up. Suck out. You've got a shot at the 2005 Bad Beats & Belly Busters Championship (or at least a chance at spoiling someone else's fun!).
