I'm no physicist, but I know what matters. According to this article on cnn.com, scientists in Denmark have taken us one step closer to realizing our Star Trek dreams, making teleportation a reality.
From what I can glean from the article, some (likely stoned) Danish scientists used a methodology known as "Entanglement" to transport a macroscopic atomic object containing thousands of billions of atoms approximately 18 inches (I'm very familiar with this unit of measure by the way) across a table.
That in itself is exciting, breakthrough stuff, but I'd really prefer they bring that light saber to life to make hedge trimming a much more entertaining proposition.
