Thought a mid-season update with some typical Bad Beats starting hands seemed appropriate (that and the fact that this is all you can think about when you don't catch squat in an entire night of play!).

AA – Alcoholics Anonymous – You’ll need a stiff one after that 7/6 off-suit cracks your Aces with blinds at $1,000/$2,000 (don’t drink and drive).
AK – Ass Krack – Looks good, and you want to play with it, but you know better than to fiddle with this one. Leave that itch alone. The stink only gets worse the deeper you go.
AQ – Agonizingly Quick – That’s how fast you’ll be out if you bring this kind of weakness to a hand.
AJ – Midnight Rape (or Ass Jack) – I might be tempted to play this hand if someone could guarantee the pot odds with a reach around.
A/9 through A/6 – The Devil’s Playthings – Can’t make a straight, functionally weak kickers, but Devil Down just can’t help being sucked-in and in turn sucking-out with this particularly weak mid-range group of kickers.
A/4 – “Fore” – Get ready to putt from the rough if choose to raise this hand. Guaranteed to Flop 3-4-5, then hit 6 & 7 on the Turn and River (oh so close).
A/2 – Acey Deucey – A guaranteed Hirp hand. It’ll be Raining Men when Hirp sucks out on you with this lil’ treat.
