Big news for zombie film fans.
Despite weak domestic box office performance, it sounds like George Romero has received the greenlight to produce a fifth installment in his classic "Of The Dead" series. Thank goodness for the bad taste of the Japanese and European secondary film markets. Apparently the DVDs have been flying off the shelves overseas!
The working title is Road of the Dead, and the film will pick up (to the frame) exactly where Land of the Dead left off. Our (anti) heroes will continue north in Dead Reckoning encountering mass carnage and facilitating many greasy spoon head shots along the way.
