Positively outstanding. Kingdom’s End rocks!

Finally had a chance to beta test the game Marneus has been cooking up for a while, and I’ve gotta tell you… it’s a blast!

ItchieKittie, Hirp, Marneus and I spent the better part of Friday evening walking through the rules, then got to play through a few rounds after the kiddos FINALLY went down for the night. It was definitely a “just the tip” experience, but we can’t wait for another opportunity to play the game through to the end.

In our shortened game, ItchieKittie quickly emerged as the dominant (and aggressive) power. Marneus spent most of his turns playing with Porqchop as a kitten plays with its food (that is, when Porqchop wasn’t stuck in the back woods recruiting dwarves). Hirp came late to the game, and didn’t get much of a chance to hit the Battle Board prior to us calling it a night. He's volunteered to play ItchieKittie's bitch at a future game, so it's likely we'll have him back.

As is tradition at our house, the night wouldn’t have been complete without a couple small hold’em tournaments prior to turning out the lights. Porqchop won’t be paying for OST 3, and Marneus has a free roll for OST 4. Looks like Hirp will be all-in before he hits the table at our next two events.
