I just discovered that there are a number of hilarious spoof trailers, tagged as "Grindhouse" trailers, posted out on YouTube. Many of them are worth a look.
The DIY trailer has been an on-again/off-again fad on the Web since it's inception, but Tarantino and Rodriguez's zombie/roadkill double-feature from last year has likely fanned the fandom flames of this genre.
Check out the above trailer for Cong of the Dead, a spoof Vietnam era zombie flick done with stop-motion G.I. Joe footage. I'd pay to see a full feature of this one.
